Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate complex electronic equipment to apply ionizing radiation for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures to ensure their safety and obtain desired diagnostic reports.
  • Calculate and select appropriate equipment and technical factors for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations.
  • Maintain working condition of equipment and report any malfunctions or needs for adjustments to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining a sanitary environment in the radiology area.
  • Comply with Radiology information system entry requirements for accurate patient, film, supply, and tracking monitors.
  • Support the Radiologic student program, specifically the clinical aspect.
  • Complete mandatory education and training to maintain organization and department-specific competencies and requirements.
Requirements:
  • Completion of Radiologic Technology programs from an approved school.
  • Registered Radiographer (R) with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists.
  • Current Radiology state license.
  • Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.
Physical Requirements:
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
