In support of the Air Force Information Networks (AFIN) Mission Assurance Center (AMAC) mission, we are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to perform AFIN User Cyber Security Event Tracking and Resolution. This role requires a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures to ensure the protection of the organization's systems and information assets.
Key Responsibilities- Process, coordinate, track, analyze, document, and report AFIN NDCI events; electronic storage incidents (ESIs); personally identifiable information (PII) incidents; cyber security events (CSEs); Active Indicator Monitoring (AIM) events; Network Vulnerability Reports (NVRs); AFIN incidents and high interest items.
- Directly support cyber operations across the AFIN working directly with 688 CW leadership, AMAC, 16 AF, Major Commands, (MAJCOMs), base comm focal points (CFPs), 83rd and 561st Network Operations Squadron (NOS), 690th and 691st Communication Operations Squadrons (COS), and 616th Operations Center.
- Perform cradle-to-grave processing of initial declaration.
- Coordinate sanitization at enterprise and base level.
- Perform weekly and monthly trend analysis.
- Requires an associate degree or equivalent, and 2-3 years of related experience, or 3-5 years of related experience.
- IAM I - Security+, Cloud+, CAP, GSLC, CND, or higher is required.
- Must have active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
