About This Position

We are seeking an experienced Indemnity Claims Handler to join our team at Elite. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of indemnity claims handling from inception to conclusion.

This is a temp-to-hire position with an estimated salary range of $90,000 - $95,000 per year, plus temporary employment hourly wage of $43.26 - $45.66/hour.

About the Job

As an Indemnity Claims Handler, you will have the opportunity to work on very complex claims, conduct investigations, and determine compensability of claims based on state law and company guidelines.

You will also manage medical treatment and billing, communicate with claimants, providers, and vendors, and compute and set reserves within company guidelines.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Five or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical knowledge of statutory regulations and medical terminology.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
