Role Overview:
As a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our interdisciplinary team, working with patients in the Dallas-Fort Worth area who require ongoing support for their recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will:
1. Gather relevant patient information and implement tailored rehabilitation programs using diverse techniques and treatment modalities.
2. Continuously assess and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and needs.
3. Ensure safety by being aware of patient diagnoses and adhering to necessary precautions.
4. Assist patients in preparing for treatments and modalities as required.
5. Deliver therapeutic interventions to a variety of patient populations while maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and state regulations.
6. Collaborate effectively with support staff regarding treatment directives as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist.
7. Administer physical agents, therapeutic exercises, or gait-training activities as specified in the patient’s plan of care.

Patient Progression:
Facilitate patient advancement in their rehabilitation journey as deemed appropriate by the supervising Physical Therapist.

Additional Duties:
Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the rehabilitation team.

Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Previous experience in patient care is preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
