Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Fayville, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:As a Registered Nurse - Med Surg, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in various settings within the community. Your expertise will be utilized to assess, teach, treat, and coordinate care, demonstrating exceptional customer service and financial awareness.
Responsibilities:- Deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with organizational philosophy, policy, and standards of community health practice.
- Perform admissions process and case management responsibilities in accordance with MGB Home Care's policies and standards of practice.
- Utilize thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communications.
- Provide assessment, teaching, treatment, and care coordination, demonstrating high-quality customer service and financial awareness.
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
- Current Massachusetts license as Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of one year previous nursing experience in an acute care setting, with prior home care experience preferred.
- Ability to work with various computer software and knowledge of hand-held patient care computer devices preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to work with a diverse population.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and electronically.
- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, and adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and adapt to unpredictable circumstances.
