Job Title: Liquor Sales Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Liquor Sales Associate to join our team at Cub. As a Liquor Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide prompt and courteous customer service to all customers
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and stockroom
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale of liquor and tobacco products
Operate cash register accurately and scan all products
Stock liquor supplies and products, rotate and face product as necessary
Perform and take special orders, such as kegs, and have appropriate equipment ready for customers when they pick up the special orders
Understand and follow local & state laws, and company policies on sales of tobacco and liquor as well as laws pertaining to hours of operation
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines regarding WIC and food stamps
Perceive immediate surroundings for customer needs and problems for store safety and security
Review weekly store ad to note price changes and sale items
Maintain strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress
Adhere to company policies and individual store guidelines
Report to work when scheduled and on time
Protect associates and customers by removing potential hazards from the sales floor in a timely manner

Requirements:
Must be able to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions; deal with a few concrete variables
Must have the ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
Must have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays
Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
