About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dedicated Janitorial Professional to join our team at Blue Chip. As a key member of our cleaning services department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Job Summary

The Dedicated Janitorial Professional will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, sanitizing, and floor care, as well as handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service. You will work independently, but also collaborate with other team members to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and tidy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, sanitizing, and floor care, to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to requests and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and tidy, and that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following proper safety protocols and reporting any hazards or incidents to your supervisor.
  • Operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and dusting machines, safely and efficiently.
  • Interpret written instructions and warning labels on cleaning chemicals, and use them correctly to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic operations of janitorial work, including knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Able to understand and follow oral and written instructions, and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Sufficiently physically fit to perform the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 21 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. The salary for this role is estimated to be between $16.50 and $17.00 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
