Role Responsibilities:
  • Manage the centralized scheduling of outpatient diagnostic and surgical procedures.
  • Accurately collect and input essential financial and demographic information for all patients.
  • Ensure verification of insurance benefits and pre-certification requirements are met prior to patient appointments.
  • Follow up on urgent or unscheduled registrations to maintain consistency in the registration process.
  • Establish controls to ensure patients understand their financial responsibilities.

Key Duties:
  • Collect co-payments and deposits based on verified information, generating receipts for patients.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  • Recommend updates to policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
  • Notify financial counselors of potential self-pay or non-covered procedures.
  • Document all reservations to support departmental statistics and scheduling.

Qualifications:
