About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CT Technologist to join our team at the University of California, San Francisco. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for performing advanced imaging procedures, leading and coordinating imaging teams, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced imaging procedures, including CT scans, and ensure high-quality images are obtained.
  • Lead and coordinate imaging teams, providing guidance and support to junior technologists.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in advanced imaging modalities, including CT and MRI.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior technologists, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform complex imaging procedures.
Requirements
  • ARRT (CT) certification and licensure.
  • Three years of experience in a radiology setting, with a focus on advanced imaging modalities.
  • Graduate of a JCERT-accredited radiology technology training program.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer CRT Fluoroscopy licensure.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients.
  • Experience with Siemens and GE 256 revolution imaging systems.
