Role Summary
Our client is in search of a dedicated Personal/Business Banker to serve the Niles, IL market. The ideal candidate will be tasked with managing a portfolio of existing clients while fostering new relationships to enhance client retention and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to understand and meet customer needs, offering tailored banking solutions.
- Generate new business leads and nurture existing relationships to create outstanding customer experiences.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients by promoting the full range of banking products, including Online and Mobile Banking.
- Execute personal banking and teller operations with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all banking products and services to effectively serve clients.
- Conduct outreach to potential clients via phone and in-person to achieve sales objectives.
- Engage actively in the sales process to meet established goals while adhering to the bank's credit quality and risk management standards.
- Analyze customer requirements for loans and deposits, providing informed recommendations on various banking products.
- Present diverse product solutions tailored to client needs.
- Participate in community events to expand networking opportunities and educate potential clients about banking services.
- Open and close the bank as required.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be someone who is proactive in their professional development and seeks a role that aligns with their interests and passions. A job title is viewed as a starting point for future growth rather than a final definition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a banking environment.
- Strong understanding of banking products and services relevant to the target clientele.
- Proven ability to cultivate positive relationships within the organization, demonstrating integrity and strategic insight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
- Valid Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for travel.
