Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Primark. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, ensuring that they leave our stores feeling satisfied and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new arrivals, promotions, and sales.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring that our stores are visually appealing and easy to navigate.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including counting tills, processing stock, and maintaining store appearance.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Ability to lift and move stock, standing for long periods, and working in a dynamic retail environment.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
