Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Dekalb, IL

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role: ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Dekalb, IL. As an SLP, you will work closely with students from elementary through secondary levels (K-12) to achieve their communication goals.

Your Impact:

  • Focus: Implement therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs, both one-on-one and in small groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and Plan: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Intervene and Support: Implement therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs, both one-on-one and in small groups.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support each student's development and progress.
  • Monitor and Adjust: Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
  • Engage: Provide engaging and effective therapy sessions under the supervision of an SLP.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Illinois.
  • Experience: Previous experience in school settings is preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome.
  • Skills: Ability to connect effectively with diverse student populations, strong communication, and organizational skills.
