Goconfluent is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Medical Receptionist Float to support our various locations. This role involves flexibility and adaptability, as the individual will be required to cover multiple sites as needed. The position entails approximately 15-20 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments.
- Handle collection of co-payments and deductibles from patients.
- Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems.
- Engage with patients and healthcare providers both in person and over the phone.
- Ensure the smooth operation of office functions within the clinic.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A solid understanding of insurance benefits, including pre-authorization and approvals.
- Prior experience in a medical reception or administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with general office equipment.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- The ability to maintain professionalism under pressure while providing excellent customer service.
