Job Summary:The Professional Practice Leader will be responsible for providing education and development to direct patient care staff, as well as being accountable for the care outcomes of a service line or clinical population. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote interprofessional collaboration and a supportive work environment
- Partner with leadership to promote staff accountability and effective decision-making
- Consult with clinicians to provide guidance on standards of care and available resources
- Direct and mentor teams in implementing clinical projects and practice changes
- Identify gaps in practice and provide guidance on clinical project development and management
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Five years of clinical nursing experience, with three years in a clinical specialty
- RN licensure in Texas or Compact State licensure
- Magnet certification in applicable specialty area
