Key Responsibilities:
The Kitchen Support Specialist will efficiently work in a dynamic environment, uphold a swift service pace, engage with Guests, collaborate with fellow Team Members to accomplish tasks, adhere to all safety and security protocols, and undertake additional duties as assigned by the Restaurant Management Team.
Essential Duties:
- Participate in the DHC Training Program to acquire new skills, responsibilities, and duties.
- Follow directives from the Restaurant Management Team and maintain professionalism.
- Communicate with supervisors when further training or guidance is necessary.
- Recognize how each responsibility affects Guests, the Team, and overall Restaurant success.
- Welcome Guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive demeanor, including addressing inquiries.
- Collaborate with other Team Members to prepare menu items while adhering to cooking instructions, safety standards, and hygiene practices.
- Effectively communicate with Team Members and Management to resolve any interpersonal matters as needed.
- Adhere to all recipes and procedures for preparing our signature chicken dishes.
- Ensure daily cleanliness of the Restaurant by clearing tables, sweeping, mopping floors, and sanitizing kitchen utensils and high-touch areas.
- Address Guests' concerns and complaints in a professional and calm manner, resolving issues according to Restaurant Policy.
- Maintain a neat appearance by wearing the designated uniform and following the Uniform Policy.
- Follow cost control guidelines to minimize Restaurant expenses and efficiently utilize all products, supplies, and equipment.
- Be performance-oriented and aware of performance expectations and results.
- Current student or high school diploma/GED preferred.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to bend, stoop, and lift comfortably.
- Exhibit a positive attitude while performing all duties.
- Commitment to guest satisfaction, viewing operations from the Guest's perspective.
- Effective communication skills with Team Members and Management.
- Strong time management abilities.
- Reliable transportation to work is required.
- Must have a reliable method of communication with the Restaurant Management Team and Team Members.
