We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Float Patient Service Specialist to join our team at Kessler Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and administer facility front office activities, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage patient scheduling, reception duties, medical record preparation, and clinic statistics and report compilation.
- Obtain and track authorizations, collect and reconcile daily bank deposits, and possess exceptional communication skills.
- Provide administrative support to the front office team, including data collection and dissemination, patient demographics, and third-party payer information.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of experience in a medical office setting with multi-tasking skills preferred.
- Knowledge of health insurance and basic computer skills, including keyboard familiarity and word processing, office procedures, filing, verbal and written communication skills, fax, and photocopying.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff, patients, physicians, and community members.
