Position Overview
As a Practical Nursing Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care to assigned residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring that care is provided in a manner that promotes comfort, independence, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the care provided to residents, delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants, and assess the completion of these tasks to ensure high-quality service.

• Monitor, document, and report any significant changes in residents' conditions that require medical or nursing intervention.

• Ensure nursing services are delivered effectively, respecting residents' wishes and promoting the least restrictive care alternatives.

• Regularly update care plans based on identified issues, measurable goals, and resident/family preferences, while encouraging residents to manage their own care.

• Administer prescribed medications to residents, including intravenous treatments as directed by physicians.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.

• Hold a current, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Oregon.
