Position Overview
We are currently seeking an Engineering Change Control Supervisor to join our team. This role, based in our Cudahy location and reporting to the Engineering Manager, involves leading teams responsible for engineering change coordination and manual documentation. As part of a diverse group of engineers, project managers, and designers, you will play a crucial role in developing and refining standard processes for managing engineering documents while collaborating with various teams to enhance organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize strong leadership abilities to guide your team towards achieving successful outcomes.
- Oversee a team of engineering change coordinators and manual coordinators.
- Ensure the timely and precise processing of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Manage the creation and content of shop folders.
- Guarantee the accurate distribution of engineering documentation.
- Define, track, and analyze departmental metrics for continuous improvement.
- Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing processes across multiple departments.
- Collaborate with customers and vendors to optimize document handling.
- Support the creation and maintenance of Oracle ERP items.
- Ensure the accurate completion of Engineer to Order manuals and data books.
- Encourage efforts to map, define, optimize, and document processes.
Work Schedule
Our facility operates 24 hours a day, five days a week, with flexible core office hours designed to meet business demands and customer needs.
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree.
- Experience in an engineering environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, whether through direct supervision or influence.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with Oracle systems.
