Software QA Engineer

Siemens Industry Software Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Software QA Engineer to join our team responsible for verification and test of Calibre's Programmable Electronic Rule Checking (PERC) product.
This role involves testing, debugging, and qualifying software releases and updates. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing PERC functional and regression tests to measure correctness, robustness, performance, and overall quality.
The ideal candidate will have strong software skills and testing abilities, as well as knowledge of the CAD/CAE industry. They will also exhibit strong team player skills, solid interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work on assignments independently or with small teams.
Minimum qualifications include a technical degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, with 3-7+ years of experience in the EDA or IC design industry. The candidate should also have at least 5 years of experience in SW Quality Assurance with solid programming skills, extensive Linux or Unix operating system experience, and Shell Scripting experience.
Preferred qualifications include domain knowledge of circuit reliability issues, experience writing analysis tools, and familiarity with SPICE netlist formats and CAD/CAE environments.
