Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at the Kaiserman JCC. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our students, staff, members, guests, and faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Access Control: Monitor facility entrance and ensure individuals are properly checked in.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and manage incidents in a professional and effective manner.
  • Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of school facilities and grounds to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism.
  • Emergency Response: Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with staff, students, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of security experience working in a school environment or equivalent experience as a sworn police officer, military, or corrections officer.
  • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and ability to obtain required clearances for working in a school environment.
  • Skills: Ability to work well under pressure, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a customer-focused, professional demeanor.
