Hospice Palliative Medicine Physician Assistant

Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is seeking a full-time clinical and academic physician to join its multidisciplinary Palliative Care service line in Phoenix, Arizona. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as clinical supervision and teaching for fellows in training in the Creighton University School of Medicine Phoenix Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship program.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Provide clinical supervision and teaching for fellows in training in the Creighton University School of Medicine Phoenix Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship program
- Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with rotational weekend hospital and call coverage
- Be part of an interdisciplinary team that provides excellent care for all patients
- MD or DO degree
- Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency program and a Hospice and Palliative Medicine or Geriatric Medicine fellowship
- A passion for providing clinically excellent care
- Active/Eligible ABMS certification Internal Medicine / Hospice & Palliative Care Medicine
- Must have or be eligible for an AZ State medical license
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
