Palliative Care Physician Opportunity

Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is seeking a highly skilled Palliative Care Physician to join its multidisciplinary team at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Supervise and teach fellows in the Creighton University School of Medicine Phoenix Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship program
  • Participate in an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Collaborate with nursing, social work, and chaplain teams to provide comprehensive care

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program and a Hospice and Palliative Medicine or Geriatric Medicine fellowship
  • Active/Eligible ABMS certification in Internal Medicine/Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine
  • AZ State medical license or eligibility
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
