Salary

The base salary for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to your base pay, you may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation assistance.

Job Description

This technical role involves physical layer system design, integration, and characterization of state-of-the-art wireless SoC products from conception to production. You will be responsible for implementing system models for the wireless communication system and its RF/circuit impairments, designing and simulating state-of-the-art physical layer wireless communication algorithms, and developing calibration, pre-equalization, cancellation, and/or pre-distortion techniques to achieve efficient and robust performance across various parts, systems, and wireless channels.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience. Additionally, you should have related working experience with OFDM and bring-up experience and take to production state-of-the-art physical layer wireless communication system algorithms for very high data rate applications. Preferred qualifications include a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, experience in designing firmware-based algorithms involving MAC-PHY interactions and SW-based PHY configurations, and experience in designing test plans and collaborating with automation/test engineers to implement and analyze results.
