Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the technical supervisor and medical director to provide routine and general diagnostic special procedures and interventional studies.
  • Provide education to patients and families about procedures and pre/post-procedure instructions.
  • Efficiently and accurately document all procedures, patient-related events, and equipment issues.
  • Participate in the continuous quality improvement process and maintain a working knowledge of departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher from an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • One year of previous continuous hospital experience in special procedures or equivalent.
  • California State Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License and Fluoroscopy License.
  • AHA BLS certification and American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Radiology certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARRT post-primary certification in Vascular Interventional (VI) Radiography (RTVI) for Interventional Radiology department.
  • ARRT post-primary certification in CV Interventional, Cardiac Interventional (RTCV) for Cardiology departments.
