Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Diagnostic Imaging Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Provide compassionate and professional care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures, including angiograms and other vascular imaging studies.
  • Imaging Procedures: Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in the operation of radiographic equipment, including mobile and stationary units, and consistently select correct technical factors for patient studies.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and coordination.
  • Quality and Safety: Maintain high standards of quality and safety in patient care, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California) and Certified Radiologic Technologist - Fluoroscopy Certificate (California) required.
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years experience as a staff technologist in Interventional Radiology or successful completion of the department angiography interventional training program.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support within 3 months of hire and Radiologic Technologist Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certificate of Advanced Qualification: ARRT-Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) and/or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) certification preferred.
  • Venipuncture Certificate: Venipuncture certification preferred.
