We are currently seeking a Field Service Electrician. This role involves the installation and maintenance of electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems within various facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electrical wiring for three-phase motor control circuits.
- Set up conduits, fittings, and enclosures to secure electrical wires and components.
- Ensure compliance of all electrical components and workmanship with NEC and other relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
- Install or replace circuit breakers, contactors, relays, and other electrical components along with their associated wiring.
- Connect electrical systems to existing power distribution panels and disconnects.
- Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to confirm proper installation and functionality.
- Inspect electrical systems to assess the need for repairs.
- Perform additional related tasks as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to interpret blueprints.
- In-depth knowledge of three-phase motor control systems, electrical systems, and wiring, including magnetic relays, Eddy Current, Wound Rotor, Variable Speed Frequency drives, and Static Stepless control systems.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Skilled in using test meters and other diagnostic instruments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship and possession of a valid electrician's license are mandatory.
Work Schedule and Expectations:
This is a full-time position; typical working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Must be able to distinguish colors for color-coded wiring.
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding are required.
- Physical capability to pull wires and cables through conduits is necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Willingness to work at heights.
- Ability to work in high-temperature environments occasionally.
