Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Experiential Marketing Producer to join our team at Jackson Marketing Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and execution of programmatic aspects of client accounts, including development, execution, and management of programs, as well as maintaining knowledge of each.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Knowledge / Contact:
    • Continually build on your knowledge and actively seek current information about your client's industry, organizational structure, products, services, markets, and distribution network.
    • Develop, facilitate, and manage specific programs for assigned clients.
    • Bring to the table ideas that add value to all clients.
  • Account / Project Management:
    • Research, gather, assemble, and analyze information for development of planning and proposals.
    • Manage the daily communication with logistics group to access workload, identify potential problems.
    • Participate in manpower meetings to provide appropriate information and content sharing for programs.
    • Lead status meeting with Account & Experiential teams as needed and direct reports and manage follow up on individual program.
    • Manage the execution of client's marketing strategies within assigned programs.
    • Identify and propose new business opportunities with both existing and new clients.
    • Communicate with upper-level management to keep them informed of information related to your clients and request their involvement as required.
  • Event Management:
    • On-site point of contact for client, JACKSON, and vendors during events.
    • Coordinate, oversee, and complete event setup and breakdown activities. Working with other team members to provide guidance and assure that all tasks are effectively and efficiently completed.
  • Administration:
    • Enter daily record of billable time.
    • Manage completion of client contact reports.
    Requirements
    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in marketing, sports marketing, events, journalism, or related field, and/or commensurate experience.
    • Skills:
      • Detailed, analytical thinker.

      • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with associates, clients, and event attendees.

      • Driver's license must be in good standing.

    • Preferred:
      • Prior motorsports experience.
      • Prior event or marketing experience.
      • Ability to drive Powered-Industrial trucks (forklifts), box truck, and other company vehicles including experience pulling a trailer.
      • Ability to pass a non-CDL DOT medical card physical.
      Travel:
      • Extensive, 70%+.
      Supervisory Responsibilities:
      • Event support staff, contractors, and seasonal workers, as assigned by season, program, and/or event.
      Physical Demands:

Though this position does not require a Class A commercial driver's license, operation of other company vehicles requiring a DOT medical card is required and EMP must pass DOT physical and qualification annually. Subject to DOT regulations as applicable.

While performing the duties of this position, the Associate is occasionally required to safely navigate roads, parking lots, event spaces, and a warehouse environment around heavy equipment, operate heavy equipment/vehicles. The Associate is required to traverse event venues, conference centers, racetracks, paddocks, and office environments which may require walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, climbing stairs/hills; operate standard office equipment, carry laptop, cameras, phones, etc.; use computers, phone, and other general office equipment. The Associate must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and lift 20-30 pounds frequently.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position in-office the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; however, on-site or at-track the noise level is usually loud and the Associate is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.

The associate is expected to adhere to all company policies.
