We're one of the largest fleets on the road, with over 13,000 trucks and 60,000 trailers. As a Diesel Mechanic at Swift Transportation, you'll be a crucial part of our team, ensuring our vehicles are in top condition.

About the Role

As a skilled Heavy Truck Technician, you'll perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to appropriate specifications (OEM, DOT, etc.). This includes inspections, repairs, and analysis of vehicle systems. You'll also diagnose and repair complex issues, disassemble, and reassemble heavy truck and trailer components.

  • Complete quality preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on company-owned equipment
  • Perform tire maintenance, including repairs, failure analysis, coding, and identification
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and basic vehicle maintenance
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Ability to use various diagnostic software
  • Computer skills
