Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

About the Role:

  • Salary: $29.00 per hour up to $35.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
  2. Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  3. Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts, including brakes and suspension systems
  4. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using computerized diagnostic tools
  5. Document all work completed in an online system

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in heavy duty truck repair and maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Familiarity with refrigeration systems and electrical troubleshooting
