Job Title: Clinical RBT Trainer

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical RBT Trainer to join our team in Chandler, Arizona.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead our team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in providing high-quality, play-based ABA therapy to young children with autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support initial and ongoing RBT competency evaluations for new and existing RBTs
  • Support 3-4 case supervisors as they grow their clinical and decision-making skills
  • Provide 20 weekly hours of billable supervision, focused on providing supervision to trainees during their first 4 weeks at Soar, and case supervisors preparing for the BCBA exam
  • Host bi-weekly group training and discussion sessions for new trainees at their home center
  • Build trainees' skill sets in ESDM practices and ABA strategies, including joint activity routines, responding to challenging behavior, data collection/documentation, and evidence-based teaching strategies
  • Organize and host quarterly, center-level continuing education events for BCBAs and RBTs (attendance optional)
  • Collaborate with the Partner Clinician and Center Operations Director regarding RBT performance and needed performance improvement initiatives
  • Act as a clinical leader in the center on days when the Partner Clinician is not present
  • Achieve ESDM certification within 2 years of starting your role as a Clinical RBT Trainer

Requirements:
  • Minimum of a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field
  • Preferred candidates have a background in child development, early childhood education, or a related field
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • ABA early intervention experience

  • Strong desire to work with clients ages 2-6
  • Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing
  • Fluency in navigating devices such as computers and tablets
