Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated individuals for our Cleaning Services role. If you possess experience in sanitation, have a strong commitment to enhancing the living environment for seniors, and are interested in a FULL TIME opportunity, we encourage you to consider this position.

Job Responsibilities:
  • The Cleaning Services Associate reports directly to the Environmental Services Director and is tasked with maintaining a hygienic and secure environment for Residents, families, staff, and visitors.
  • Responsible for the thorough cleaning of communal spaces and may also be assigned to clean Resident units, including personal laundry, bed linens, and towels.
Key Duties:
  • Conduct cleaning of Resident units as designated.
  • Perform comprehensive bathroom sanitation, including toilets, sinks, bathtubs/showers, countertops, mirrors, and floors.
  • Maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas, including countertops and floors.
  • Dust all surfaces while ensuring the safety of Residents' belongings.
  • Vacuum all accessible areas.
  • Wash windows internally as required.
  • Clean all shared areas, including hallways, staircases, activity spaces, lobbies, elevators, and model units.
  • Ensure cleanliness of public restrooms.
  • Maintain housekeeping and laundry carts in optimal condition.
  • Wash and dry all community laundry using appropriate cleaning products.
  • Adhere to emergency protocols in case of chemical mishandling.
  • Understand and follow proper procedures for handling biohazardous waste.
  • Keep the laundry room organized and store cleaning chemicals properly.
  • Communicate effectively with the Environmental Services Director and other team members.
  • Notify the Environmental Services Director when supplies need replenishing.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Prior experience in maintenance is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to bend, reach, and work in confined spaces.
  • Capable of pushing and pulling equipment.
  • Able to stand for extended periods.
Additional Information:
  • Weekend and holiday work may be required.
  • Potential exposure to infectious materials and various environmental conditions.
  • Background checks, including criminal and drug tests, will be conducted.
  • May be photographed or recorded for community purposes.
