The University of Colorado is seeking a skilled and experienced Associate Technical Director to join their team in Boulder, Colorado. As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in theatrical design and production, with at least one year of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the Technical Director on two-show repertory season productions, creating scenic shop drawings, supervising build and installation teams, directing and instructing production crews, and performing skilled carpentry work. You will also be responsible for leading changeovers and run crew, supervising strike and load-out, monitoring team safety and morale, and communicating regularly with the Production Manager.

We are looking for someone with excellent technical skills, artistic sensibility, and strong collaboration and communication abilities. If you have a valid driver's license and a commitment to an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace environment, we encourage you to apply.
