We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Knott's Berry Farm. As a Hotel Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel guest rooms, public areas, and amenities.
Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain all areas of a guest room, including making beds, cleaning bathroom fixtures, removing dirty linen, replacing used guest amenities, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, and mopping floors.
- Guest Services: Respond to guest requests and inquiries, report maintenance issues, collect and label lost and found items, and respond to the requests of team leaders.
- Public Areas: Ensure that all assigned areas, including hallways, pool area, video room, banquet spaces, stairways, public bathrooms, public areas, lobby area, elevators, elevator landings, fitness center, linen closets, hallways, vending machines, and outdoor walkways are cleaned daily in accordance with Knott's Berry Farm standards.
- Safety and Equipment: Work with chemicals in accordance with all safety guidelines listed on the safety data sheets (SDS), use cleaning equipment in accordance with departmental safety guidelines, and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
- Additional Tasks: Complete any other projects as assigned by supervision.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience preferred but not required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical and repetitious tasks.
- Availability: Flexible availability to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Work Schedule: Ability to work between the hours of 9:00 am - 7:00 pm.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
- Criminal Background Check: Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
