Position Overview:

Are you a skilled culinary professional seeking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment? Immanuel Communities is on the lookout for a dedicated Full time Sous Chef to contribute to our mission of serving others while fostering connections with colleagues.

This role entails working 32 hours per week and involves a variety of responsibilities in a vibrant community setting. Availability for afternoon/evening shifts, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Compensation: This position offers a competitive pay rate of up to $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, certifications, skills, and education.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for a wide range of culinary tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Food preparation techniques such as baking, grilling, and stove-top cooking.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  • Overseeing kitchen staff and their development.
  • Managing kitchen projects and special events.
  • Assisting with inventory management and ensuring smooth kitchen operations in the absence of the Team Lead.

Qualifications:

A minimum of two (2) years of culinary experience is required.
