Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Kinseth Hospitality Companies. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food production plans to meet the needs of our guests and ensure cost control.
  • Conduct inventory, purchase, and manage foodstuffs, kitchen supplies, and equipment to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Collaborate with sales staff, customers, and client groups to plan menus for special occasions and resolve any menu inconsistencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all KHC policies and procedures, including safety and performance standards, and maintain a professional image at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume food service environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, and ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Working Conditions

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and other hazards. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods is required.
