Key Responsibilities- Design and develop control systems and instrumentation equipment, including electrical control panels.
- Conduct analytical assessments and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Lead projects independently, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
- Assist with installation and commissioning tasks, providing technical support as needed.
- Modify and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Familiarity with PLC/SCADA software, including Siemens Step 7/WinCC/TIA Portal and Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley RSLogix5000.
- Background in computer programming, with experience in languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
- Understanding of hazardous area equipment and installation requirements, including ATEX, IECEx, NEC, NFPA, and DNV, ABS, API, and MODU codes/standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in electrical controls automation.
- Strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, co-workers, and management.
