Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team as a Medical Technician. As a CNA, you will be responsible for assisting with medication administration, providing quality care to residents, and promoting their overall well-being.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $35,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with medication administration, following the six 'rights' of medication administration each and every time assistance with or administration of a medication occurs.
- Document clearly and accurately on the Medication Administration Record (MAR) after a medication is taken/given, refused, held, discontinued, changed, disposed of, returned, following the residence policy.
- Maintain a neat, clean, organized medication cart/cabinet, and restock the cart/cabinet as needed.
- Provide residents with any treatments required as part of their individual service plan as designated.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience: Experience in the caregiving field, preferably working with older adults.Qualifications: Ability to read, write, and speak English, friendly, caring disposition, and required medication training.Knowledge Requirements: Any required resident care training and required medication training.-
