About the JobWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Art Teacher and Creative Mentor to join our team at La Salle Academy. As an Art Teacher and Creative Mentor, you will play a vital role in inspiring students to explore their creativity and develop a deeper understanding of art.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our students. You will teach a range of art subjects, including drawing, painting, and art history, and provide individualized instruction to adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of students with varying intellectual and artistic abilities.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment, managing materials and equipment, and communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
RequirementsTo be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Art or Art Education. You should have experience working with children in an art studio and/or classroom setting, and be able to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
A strong organizational and time management skills are essential, as is the ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be committed to upholding the values and mission of La Salle Academy.
BenefitsThis is a temporary, long-term substitute position, working 2 days per week. The salary for this role is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
