About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the position of Child Care Group Supervisor at the YMCA of Reading & Berks County. As a key member of our childcare program, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children in our care. Located in Reading, PA, this part-time role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $15-$18 per hour, with a $3 shift differential for morning and afternoon shifts.

**Responsibilities and Expectations:**
- Provide exceptional care and supervision to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate programs that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to relevant regulations and standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education

Requirements and Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or a related field
- Alternatively, a combination of 30 credit hours in a relevant field and 1 year of experience working with children
