Job Title: Business Information Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Information Security Officer to join our team at ITech Consulting Partners. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing a comprehensive information security program that aligns with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead security and privacy efforts, including audits, to maintain compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI)
  • Partner with technology teams and vendors to ensure product security requirements are evaluated and prioritized, and security best practices are integrated into the technology life cycle
  • Coordinate ongoing activities related to the definition, development, testing, and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and IT Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP)
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure effective communication and collaboration on security-related concerns
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, IT, Information Security, Risk Management, or related field (MBA is a plus)
  • Seven (7+) years of information technology, information security, and risk, program or process management experience
  • Extensive experience working with information security practices, networks, software, and hardware
  • Strong process-oriented individual with experience in ITIL concepts, NIST, CIS CSC, and/or HITRUST common security frameworks
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both written and verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills) required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CISSP, CISA, or other senior-level information security certification
  • Project Management certification is a plus
