Job Title: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Vista Del Mar Child & Family Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing language and speech services to children in Vista School who qualify for language and speech services through their school district's IEP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work one-to-one and in small groups with students as mandated by their IEP goals.
  • Complete daily charting on services delivered.
  • Meet with school personnel and clinical staff to discuss students' language, speech, and communication needs.
  • Update student progress reports quarterly.
  • Attend parent/staff conferences as requested.
  • Provide education and information to other Vista personnel (informally and formally).
Requirements:
  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
  • Minimum of an associate's degree from an accredited speech-language pathology program.
  • Experience with children and adolescents with emotionally disturbed, learning disabilities, and autism children.
  • Knowledge of school-based language and speech services.
  • Familiarity with Elligent and SEIS databases.
