Job Title: Speech Language Pathology Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Ascend Rehab Services Inc. in Daly City, CA.

As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services and support the growth and development of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in the assessment and treatment of children with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track client progress and outcomes
Requirements
  • Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
  • Knowledge of techniques for speech, language, communication, and articulation disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Qualifications
  • Must have a CA State Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License
  • Must have a CA State Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License in process/pending
  • Be comfortable working with children
