Program Director: Direct Care Services

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Program Director to lead our team of caregivers in providing exceptional direct care services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a deep understanding of the needs of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain effective communication and teamwork with staff, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and implement programs and services that meet the unique needs of each individual, focusing on person-centered care and empowerment.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and agency policies.
  • Provide training and support to caregivers, promoting ongoing skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services, including medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community activities.
  • Foster relationships with community partners and vendors to expand resources and opportunities for our clients.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and personnel matters, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing administrative burdens.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Behavioral Health, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in direct care services or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, laws, and best practices in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and other software applications used in healthcare settings.
  • Demonstrated commitment to person-centered care, cultural sensitivity, and social justice principles.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
