Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at the Arizona Department of Health Services. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial oversight and guidance to our programs and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze revenue, expenditures, and anticipated obligations for assigned programs
  • Collaborate with finance leadership and peers to set priorities, manage competing financial priorities, and provide financial guidance to programs
  • Review and approve financial documents and systems, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Develop and update budget performance reports, expenditure projections, and revenue management plans
  • Provide training and support to program staff on financial policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field, with 5 years of related work experience, including 2 years in a management/supervisory role
  • Master's degree will substitute for 2 years of work experience
  • Government experience preferred
