As a key member of our Crown Beverage Division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our automated equipment and maintaining the highest quality standards in our production processes.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanic-Lacquer Spray Machine Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for observing, maintaining, adjusting, cleaning, and removing cans from automatic lacquer spraying machines and related equipment. You will also be required to start/stop lacquer room equipment, set up and adjust spray room equipment, detect and remove defective cans, and perform other related duties as required.

Responsibilities
  • Observe and maintain automatic lacquer spraying machines and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Adjust and clean equipment as needed to prevent malfunctions and maintain production standards.
  • Start and stop lacquer room equipment, including pumps, vibrators, and exhaust fans.
  • Set up and adjust spray room equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Detect and remove defective cans from production flow.
  • Remove jams from assigned equipment and lubricate as required.
  • Start up and shut down ovens and place lacquer waste materials in proper containers.
  • Maintain checklists, lubrication lists, and other related records as required.
  • Receive and offload tanker trucks.
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum six (6) months' work experience in a manufacturing company.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Mechanical experience working in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to comply with all OSHA safety rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail, good record keeping, and precision abilities.
  • Ability to work under time pressures and flexibility to adjust to sudden work patterns or schedules.
  • Ability to work independently and with teams.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, evenings, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.

  • Commitment to ongoing personal training and development.
Working Conditions

The team member will work in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures and the noise level is frequently loud.
