Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Specialist to join our team in a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote). This role will focus on technical claim handling for Chubb nationwide, managing complex general liability and automobile claims, both litigated and non-litigated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and analyze loss facts and extent of third-party damages
  • Communicate coverage positions and negotiate settlements or trial strategies
  • Direct and monitor assignments to experts and defense counsel
  • Evaluate information on coverage, liability, and damages to determine exposure to the insured and the company
  • Set reserves within authority or make claim recommendations to supervisor
  • Travel to conferences, mediations, and trials as necessary
Requirements
  • Over 4 years of experience handling moderate to complex commercial auto and general liability claims
  • Focus on customer service and relationship development
  • Proficiency in analyzing insurance coverages and drafting coverage letters
  • Experience in analyzing risk transfer tenders and managing claims through the litigation process
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills
  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • Licensed as an Adjuster in a home state, or the ability to earn a license within 90 days of starting
What We Offer

Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary range of $71,500 to $115,000, and a discretionary annual incentive program. This role may also be eligible to participate in a geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
