About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at ManTech International Corporation. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in protecting our nation's security and advancing our company's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Analyze and recommend policies, procedures, and processes to increase efficiency and streamline project activities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Interact with team members and customers at multiple levels to gather, supply, or coordinate information, utilizing excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all customers' policies and procedures, including TASKORDs, and enterprise service requirements, such as CONOPS, account management, and system security plans.
  • Customer Support and Onboarding: Provide customer support via various channels, resolve issues, and answer questions, maintaining effective communication throughout the process.
  • Process Improvement and Automation: Analyze customer feedback to assist in process improvement, provide ideas for automation of repetitive project tasks, and assist with testing and implementation.
  • Engineering Support and System Administration: Perform engineering support and system administration of specialized cybersecurity applications and systems, including installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and backup/restore.
Requirements
  • Technical Experience: 5+ years of technical experience with cyber tools.
  • Education and Certifications: Minimum education: B.S. or 4+ additional years of experience. Must have or be able to obtain IAT Level II certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Solid understanding of Windows and Linux systems administration, general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts. Knowledge of Tenable product suite and vulnerability scanning, as well as general understanding of ServiceNow.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Technologies: Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of AWS technologies.
  • ServiceNow: General understanding of ServiceNow.
  • Federal Cyber Security Guidance: Understanding of federal Cyber Security Guidance, such as NIST SP – Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to Federal Information Systems and NIST – Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) for Federal Information Systems and Organizations.
Security Clearance Requirements
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph: Must possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph.
Physical Requirements
  • Work Environment: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Communication: The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
