Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Network Infrastructure Specialist at Evolver Federal in Washington, DC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of upgraded network infrastructure by installing, organizing, and developing CAT5/6 low voltage cables and fiber.
  • Deploy new switches, WAPs, and UPS devices across the main campus and remote sites.
  • Perform installation of new drops (copper and fiber) throughout the client site, including testing of the network drops and fiber.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of cable terminations, labeling, and patch panel assignments.
  • Troubleshoot common cable problems using fault isolation techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1 year of Information Technology experience.
  • 1-3 years of cable experience/network gear deployment.
  • Excellent active listening and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of CAT6 and fiber standards.
  • Experience testing cables for continuity and signal quality.
  • Experience using digital multimeters, CAT6, and fiber testers.

Payscale: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum.
