Overview

As a Sterile Processing Technician with Ardent Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by providing quality processed and sterilized instrumentation and supplies throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Process and sterilize instrumentation and supplies according to regulatory guidelines and departmental procedures.
  • Ensure timely delivery of instrumentation to all departments serviced.
  • Support and promote departmental priorities related to personal and patient safety.
  • Effectively organize activities to ensure efficient delivery of care.
  • Maintain accurate regulatory recordkeeping as set by departmental policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CBSPD certification or equivalent for Sterile Instrument Processing within one year of hire.
Preferred Requirements
  • Surgical instrumentation experience.
