We are looking for a skilled Family Law Attorney to handle a wide range of cases, including divorce, legal separation, paternity action, estate planning, and other family law matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and Draft Legal Documents: Prepare and draft legal documents for filing with appropriate entities and necessary correspondence.
  • Draft Pleadings and Motions: Draft pleadings and motions, including judgments and orders.
  • Correspond with Attorneys and Clients: Correspond with attorneys, court personnel, and clients regarding cases.
  • Interview Witnesses: Interview witnesses for court cases and prepare witnesses to testify.
  • Ensure Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of all documents prepared.
  • Prompt Court Appearances: Promptly appear in court on all cases assigned.
  • Handle Cases: Handle all aspects of cases assigned to them.
  • Perform Administrative Duties: Perform administrative duties as necessary, including filing, mailing, organizing files and pleadings.
  • Conduct Legal Research: Conduct legal research for particular issues.
Requirements:
  • J.D. Degree: J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Indiana License: Indiana license required.
  • Family Law Experience: Family law experience is preferred but not required.
  • Senior Associate Positions: Senior Associate positions are available for attorneys with five years or more of litigation experience.
